Chem-free was founded and is owned by the Jenkins family (of ABC Home & Commercial Services). Houston-area homeowners were asking for alternatives and options to conventional pest control methods and the Jenkins family wanted to meet that demand. Chem-free is a completely separate business from ABC and utilizes its own special set of local pest control experts and low-impact, pest control products.

Chem-free's philosophy is encapsulated in the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), a low-impact approach to pest control that balances the need to achieve lasting results with the imperative to be responsible stewards of the environment. IPM isn't just good for Houston's lawns and gardens - it's also great for future generations.
